Electronics Engineer

Aims and Objectives of the qualification:

The aim of the qualification is to recognize learners' achievement within the electronics engineering environment. It develop learners' understanding the principles and process of the electronics design, develop and test components, devices, systems or equipment that use electricity as part of their source of power. These components include capacitors, diodes, resistors and transistors. You may be involved at any stage of a project including the initial brief for a concept, the design and development stage, testing of prototypes and the final manufacture and implementation of a new product or system.

 

Entry Requirements:

First Year Entry: Engineering

A pass in 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics with 50% marks. English subject minimum 70% mark is required.

Second Year Entry: 

A 3 years Diploma in the concerned subject with 60% marks.

Third Year Entry: Credit Transfer

First year entry requirement PLUS minimum 2.5 years of documented study at a college/university level institution in the concerned subject. Credit transfer facility requires evaluation of credentials and will be done case by case. After mapping exercise of the incoming student credit exemptions will be awarded, still the student need to undergo RITHS examinations for the remaining credits. Maximum credits can be transferred is limited to 2/3 of a RITHS qualification.

Progression Opportunity:

Learner who achieve this qualification could progress onto direct final year of a Bachelors degree in Electronics engineering at our partner universities.

Tuition Fees:

INR. 1,50,000 per year.
